Publication Frequency

Jurnal Hubungan Luar Negeri (Jurnal Hublu)  publishes articles (in Indonesian or English), research resumes, and book reviews. Jurnal Hublu is published biannually, in June and December.

 

Open Access Policy

Manuscripts and other information listed on Jurnal Hubungan Luar Negeri (Jurnal Hublu)  website are open access and freely available to the public as a support to a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Formal legal provisions for access to digital electronic journal articles are subject to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-No Derivative (CC BY-NC-ND) license. It means that with the author’s permission, articles are allowed to be distributed to other parties, not for commercial purposes, and are properly attributed to the original form.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

 

Article Processing Charge

There is no Article Processing Charge (APC) payable for an article once the submission is accepted.

 

Article Submission Fee

No submission fee will be charged before the start of the peer-review process.

 

Plagiarism Issue

Jurnal Hubungan Luar Negeri (ISSN: 2614 – 8560) does not tolerate any form of plagiarism. All of new submissions to the journal will be screened with plagiarism and similarity checker. The similarity report will then be forwarded to the author(s) for evaluation purpose.

 

  1. Similarity rate above 40%: The manuscript does not pass the initial review and must be declined at the editorial grounds.
  2. Similarity rate 26%-40%: The manuscript will be sent back to the author for major correction and improvement, only if the manuscript offers substantially unique ideas. Author(s) are required to cite referred sources correctly and paraphrase them properly.
  3. Similarity rate 10%-25%: The manuscript may pass the initial review on similarity check and proceed to the other initial review check-list. However, a further improvement on citation still need to be done.

 

The plagiarism check will be conducted again once the article has passed through the peer-review process and is awaiting editor’ final decision.

 

References Management

Every article submitted to Jurnal Hubungan Luar Negeri Journal shall use Mendeley as reference management tools.

 

Copyediting and Proofreading

Every article accepted by Jurnal Hubungan Luar Negeri shall go through copyediting and proofreading.
