Plagiarism Issue

Jurnal Hubungan Luar Negeri (ISSN: 2614 – 8560) does not tolerate any form of plagiarism. All of new submissions to the journal will be screened with plagiarism and similarity checker. The similarity report will then be forwarded to the author(s) for evaluation purpose.

  1. Similarity rate above 40%: The manuscript does not pass the initial review and must be declined at the editorial grounds.
  2. Similarity rate 26%-40%: The manuscript will be sent back to the author for major correction and improvement, only if the manuscript offers substantially unique ideas. Author(s) are required to cite referred sources correctly and paraphrase them properly.
  3. Similarity rate 10%-25%: The manuscript may pass the initial review on similarity check and proceed to the other initial review check-list. However, a further improvement on citation still need to be done.

The plagiarism check will be conducted again once the article has passed through the peer-review process and is awaiting editor’ final decision.
