Abstract

Potensi maritim Indonesia yang luas merupakan esensi penting menuju visi poros maritim dunia. Dengan memanfaatkan posisi geografis yang strategis, Indonesia berpeluang menginisiasi jaringan maritim yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peluang proyeksi inisiasi penamaan koridor maritim baru sebagai sebuah instrumen diplomasi Indonesia sebagai manifestasi Global South Bridge Builder yang dapat menjadi katalisator dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi kawasan, mempererat solidaritas, memperkuat kerja sama kawasan, serta memperluas pengaruh Indonesia di kancah internasional. Guna mencapai tujuan penelitian, tulisan ini membahas mengenai potensi maritim, visi kelautan serta mekanisme kerja sama yang dapat ditempuh Indonesia dalam mewujudkan Global South Corridor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi kepustakaan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan Global South Corridor dapat menjadi potensi rekomendasi kebijakan yang komprehensif dalam implementasi konektivitas maritim sebagai instrumen diplomasi maritim Indonesia.
